Apperian was founded by Apple, Motorola and General Dynamics executives with a combined 17 years of experience developing enterprise mobility solutions for Fortune 1000 companies.

Chuck Goldman
CEO
Chuck co-founded Apperian in 2009 to help build enterprise applications for the iPhone and help brands develop transformative point of service mobile applications. Prior to Apperian, Chuck spent the last eight years as the Director of Field Engineering and Professional Services for Apple, Inc where he helped integrate Apple technologies into Apple's largest education and enterprise customer infrastructure. Chuck also worked closely with Apple’s iPhone Enterprise Beta/Software Development Kit (SDK) program and has been helping Apple's Enterprise customer's leverage the iPhone platform since the day it launched.

Chuck was also founder and CEO of Interactive Media Solutions, a company that provided next generation recruiting tools for colleges and universities looking to leverage the internet. At IMS Chuck created America's first "virtual open house" where 400 prospective students and over 80 faculty and staff communicated in real time and conducted virtual leader led tours around campus - all online. IMS also developed powerful middleware that personalized user experience and connected front end users into back-end CRM systems such as PeopleSoft.


Doug Eicher
VP Sales
Doug has over 20 years of technology sales experience with a strong customer focus and business acumen. Most recently, Doug was the Northeast Area Director for Apple Computer, and transformed the $450M sales, services, and marketing organization, growing revenues by 38%. Further, he negotiated Apple’s single largest deal — $34M — to deploy 38K laptops in 245 Maine Public Schools statewide, and cultivated goal-oriented, customer-focused, market-driven teams by establishing measurable goals, efficient processes, and a strong support structure.

Prior to joining Apple Computer, Doug spent a decade with Microsoft, running several Boston-based Enterprise businesses, leading a number of Northeast technology startup Sales Teams.


West Decker
VP Professional Services
West Decker heads Apperian's Professional Services Group and is responsible for delivering transformative applications to the iPhone. West spent the last 10 years of his career at Apple, Inc. where he worked with Apple's largest Enterprise, Government, and Creative companies in the U.S. and abroad. His technical background and dedication to customers propelled him into a leadership role as Sr. Manager of Apple's Enterprise Professional Services division. West led Apple's first foray into iPhone Application development for Enterprise customers where he directed diverse teams in technical delivery, project management, and quality assurance. West brings leadership, passion, and vision to help customers achieve amazing results.


Matt Finkelstein

VP Production and Products
Matt is working to position Apperian at the forefront of transformative mobility. He has over eight years of experience in the mobile solutions industry and twice that in software product management and marketing. Matt has developed trusted customer partnerships with household-name companies such as Citibank, 3M, Exxon Mobil, Cisco, and Shell Chemical. He has been a frequent speaker on the Mobile Application ROI within the Enterprise. Matt is a patent holder and is certified for large, complex project management and in the Pragmatic Marketing Framework.


Sesha Pratap
VP Strategy
Sesha leads Apperian’s strategy group and works with clients to develop innovative and market-leading strategies for the iPhone. Prior to Apperian, Sesha was a founding partner at Assembla Consulting, where he helped companies rescue delayed products and accelerate software development efforts. Before that, he was with Opera Solutions, where he was responsible for technology strategy and operations at several turnaround projects, including Delano Corp. (acquired by Divine, Inc) and Intellirisk Corp (now Iqor). Sesha began his career as a co-founder and president of Centerline Software, a leading Unix software development tools company that grew to 150 employees and over $18 million in revenues. Sesha is an honors graduate of Harvard University.


Barry Goldman
Director of Operations & Co-Founder of Apperian.
Barry co-founded Apperian in 2009 with his brother Chuck, having become profoundly fascinated by the explosive growth and limitless possibilites of mobile technology. For over two decades, Barry served as President of PHB International, Inc., a global sourcing business for the footwear industry, and was a pioneer for his early introduction of digital technology into the leather trade.


Josh Stephenson
Senior Developer
Josh Stephenson leads a talented team of Apperian developers.  His passion for organizing teams and integrating new software keeps Apperian ahead of the game.  For nearly a decade, Josh has lead, organized and grown teams in international web and mobile products and services.  His passion for new technologies made him an early adopter of the iPhone platform; he was a key player in of many of the App Store's initial featured applications.


Steve Brykman
Director of Usability
Steve leads members of the Creative Design, Content, and Technology disciplines to generate out-of-the box concepts that produce award-winning work. As managing editor with National Lampoon, Steve revived the troubled brand and built-up from nothing a Webby-nominated comedy site with work featured in the Smithsonian Institute. As a writing fellow at the University of Massachusetts, his fiction was awarded the Harvey Swados prize. Most recently, he developed online campaigns for several Fox and Warner Bros. titles, enabling the studios to push the technological presence of their films.


Raegan McCain
Creative Director
Raegan shapes the creative strategy of all Apperian projects, from initial concept to final design. Whether it’s building a brand from scratch or guarding an established look and feel, Raegan takes industry catch phrases like "online branding" and "intuitive user experience" and makes them mean something. Folks from American Honda to Led Zeppelin look to her for her creative UI expertise. She was the first to create internal Flash promos for Twentieth Century Fox & Warner Bros. movie titles, and her work on the Transamerica Retirement Services Website was honored with an international communications award for outstanding design.
