Goodbye Boston

We left Boston under the cover of darkness. For some reason it’s easier that way. “Boys II Men” had it right when they sang, “It’s so hard to say goodbye.” Obviously, It’s taken us a while to leave. We’ve rarely been out of Charlestown until the last year or two and now we’re moving 3000 miles away. Which isn’t easy. Especially when there’s no room for God as your copilot. He’s gotta ride in the back. Even then, it’s pretty cramped. We’ve got a Toyota Camray (my mother’s pronunciation) chock full of wigs, CDs, and get-ups to haul across the Continent. It’ll be a rough ride over the mountains.

And since I'm now writing a post that was started in Chicago and currently getting finished in LA I guess we've made it. Those Mountains were tough and the desert gruelling but here we are. This is only the beginning though. I know it'll be hard at first, for me anyways. I was always the one who had a tough time staying over at other people's houses. This time, it's for good... A permanent sleepover. It's difficult to leave when everything you know and love is someplace else.

I don't want to get too sappy but thanks to everyone who's ever come to a show or wanted to come to a show and couldn't. And thanks to all of the people who believe in us. I'm incredibly happy to have met and worked with all of you. That said we'll be back at Christmas for another six months,
Chris
