The
People of West Hollywood
Digital
photo-manipulation is a closer kin to painting than photography.
The artist's time is most at stake as she molds the image, pixel
by pixel. Layering textures and juxtaposing images to achieve a
unified statement, a deliberate, symbolic vision that allows us
to see the commonplace anew, fine-tuning to single-degrees of subliminal
transparency in the hope of reaching the sublime.

This set
of images was featured on the giant LCD screen overlooking West
Hollywood's Sunset strip.
