Joel Aronowitz, M.D., a widely respected plastic surgeon, is an expert in advanced surgical techniques that minimize scars and postoperative recovery time. Clinical Chief of the division of Plastic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Aronowitz lectures on plastic surgery throughout America and internationally. Dr. Aronowitz is board certified in the specialty of Plastic Surgery, and serves as a diplomat in the Amercian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). He has published several scientific papers in medical journals on corrective surgery for poor results after breast augmentation, breast cancer and facial cosmetic surgery. In practice for more than 20 years, Aronowitz trains other new surgeons at Cedars-Sinai and USC’s Keck School of Medicine, where he serves as a clinical assistant professor. Aronowitz earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, completed preliminary surgery training under the renowned surgical pioneer Michael DeBakey and finished his plastic and reconstructive surgery training at Baylor in Houston’s Texas Medical Center. Dr. Aronowitz is married with three daughters and one son.
